In the U.S., 168 healthcare organizations have received accreditation for immune effector cell therapy from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy. An additional seven received standalone immune effector cell therapy accreditation, meaning the facilities operate outside of a blood and marrow transplant unit.

The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies developed international standards for cell and gene therapies in partnership with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the International Society for Cellular Therapy and the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
