Just two months into 2026, we’ve already had to say goodbye to a handful of restaurants, from former Best Restaurant honorees to neighborhood staples. Here are 20 recent restaurant closures in Northern Virginia.

Part of our 50 Best Restaurants of 2025, this Warrenton favorite was open for just over two years before closing. The goodbye message on its website stated, “What began as an idea evolved into a place shaped by passion, creativity, and the people who brought it to life. We are grateful for every guest, every memory made, and every laugh shared. Thank you for being part of it.” 7150 Farm Station Rd., Warrenton

Another holiday-season closure hit Loudoun County. A notice on the door alerted diners that Baker’s Crust would close December 28, after seven years in Ashburn, according to The Burn. The restaurant still operates locations in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk. 19890 Belmont Chase Dr., Ste. 135, Ashburn

The 24-hour diner is no longer serving on Langston Boulevard. The local chain made the announcement on January 26. Bob & Edith’s still operates seven locations throughout Northern Virginia. 5050 Langston Blvd., Arlington

Arlington is no longer home to a Buffalo Wild Wings. On February 22, the chain closed for good after 15 years, according to ARLnow. There are still 12 other locations throughout the region. 2450 Crystal Dr., Arlington

Nokesville’s oldest brewery will be closing in 2026. Stop by for one last night at Cedar Run while you can; no exact closing date has been announced yet. 12801 Hazelwood Dr., Nokesville

After opening in February 2025, the doughnut shop closed shortly after the holiday season. No reason was provided for the departure. 21426 Epicerie Plz., Ste. 180, Sterling

An August kitchen fire caused the Glory Days Grill in Merrifield to close temporarily, but according to FFXnow, the closure is now permanent. The location was open for 24 years. 3059 Nutley St., Fairfax
