Submissions are open for the 23rd Annual Gival Press Short Story Award, honoring the best previously unpublished literary short story in English. Stories should be approximately 5,000 words and must stand alone (not excerpted from a novel). The winner receives $1,000 and publication on the Gival Press website. The reading fee is $25 per story submitted. Writers of all backgrounds and styles are encouraged to submit their strongest work.
