WASHINGTON, D.C. –– An appellate court overseeing an appeal relating to challenges lodged against the EPA’s Coke Ovens Rule has ordered that the case continue to be held in abeyance, granting a motion from the federal agency to stay proceedings.
In the Oct. 16 order, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit asked the EPA to file a status report within 90 days of the order and at 90-day intervals thereafter.
“The parties are directed to file motions to govern future proceedings no later than June 30, 2026,” the court wrote.
