Donald Trump has made a frank admission over his dancing as his latest moves were mocked on social media.
Speaking on the fifth anniversary (January 6) of his attempts to stay in power that sparked Capitol riots, the US President addressed House Republicans at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. After discussing his party's agenda for 2026 and predicting his impeachment should the Republicans lose the midterm elections, the 79-year old grooved to YMCA.
"My wife hates it when I do this," he admitted, before waving his fists to the Village People tune. "She's a very classy person, right? Trump continued.
"She said, 'It's so unpresidential'. I said, 'But I did become President'. She hates when I dance. I said, 'Everbody wants me to dance'."
Trump went on: "She said, 'Could you actually imagine FDR [Franklin D. Roosevelt] dancing?' She said that to me. I have to say this though, the dancing - they [supporters] really like it. She said, 'They don't like it, they are just being nice to you'. I said, 'That's not right, the place goes crazy. They are screaming, 'Dance please!'"
