Donald Trump has been left humiliated in the run up to his birthday as celebrities fail to materialise for his MAGA-packed White House UFC bash.

The president and his followers are eagerly anticipating UFC 250, a major event organised by Dana White set to take place at an "eyesore" ring erected on the South Lawn on his 80th birthday. The June 14 event has been touted as a major meeting of top Trumpworld figures and their political orbiters, but despite organisers' insistence to the contrary, it has failed to attract public popularity.

Among the approximately 4,000 people expected to attend will be few celebrities with mass public appeal, despite having been personally invited by White, the UFC's president and CEO.

The top official said in a recent interview with Time Magazine that he has extended invites to some of the world's most famous actors, among them big name Brits. On the list, he said, were Adam Sandler, Guy Ritchie, Tom Brady, Jared Leto, Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Mario Lopez.

Most of them have already ruled themselves out of attending, including, according to Vanity Fair, a source close to The Rock, and representatives for Sandler, Leto, and Lopez.

Representatives for the three Brits on the list are yet to comment on their own reported invites, and neither the White House nor the UFC have commented either. The growing list of no's reflects what is becoming a major issue being encountered by Trump in his second term: he is deeply unpopular.

The Commander In Chief, who enjoys claiming he was elected on a "landslide" majority in 2024, has seen his support crater in his new term, especially since he launched into his now three-month-long war with Iran.
