Donald Trump torn apart on GB News in explosive nine-word bombshell

A GB News guest took aim at the US President after Donald Trump dismissed Iran's ceasefire request. On Sunday (March 15), Anne Diamond returned to the helm alongside guest co-host Mark White as they discussed the latest news hitting the headlines. It didn't take long for things to turn political when the dynamic duo welcomed Middle East correspondent Jotam Confino onto the show to share his thoughts on the ongoing conflict.

Discussing the impact of the latest development between the US and Iran, Confino warned that when Trump discusses the war in Iran, he is trying to appease the financial markets rather than bring an end to the war. "He goes off-script and just says whatever's on his mind, and I often think that it's not completely thought through. I think often when he speaks about the war, he is also trying to appease the oil market and the stock markets, so when he says, 'The war will end soon', he knows it will have a direct effect on the energy prices and the stock market.

"But I think we have to simply look at the facts on the ground here. The United States is sending more military equipment to the Middle East, and they are ramping up attacks. They are not over; we are not going to see this war being over tomorrow or the day after, at least not according to what's happening on the ground.

"Especially now, when he is calling on European nations and also Asian countries to help escort ships in the Strait of Hormuz. He might say a lot of different things, but I think he's also just doing that because he knows that it confuses everyone."

He added: "But I think, look at what's happening here. It's clear that the United States is definitely going to stay in this war for at least the next coming days and if not weeks I would say."
