WASHINGTON (TNND) — Elon Musk hurled a slew of insults toward Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, calling him "Sean Dummy" and accusing him of having a "2 digit IQ."

The SpaceX CEO's attacks against Duffy came in response to the Wall Street Journal reporting that Duffy, who is the interim head of NASA, is interested in becoming the permanent leader. The Journal reported that Duffy is seeking to just fold NASA into the Transportation Department.

"Sean Dummy is trying to kill NASA" Musk wrote in a post, which included details of how Duffy is meeting with lawmakers in an effort to see him being selected as the administrator of NASA.

“The person responsible for America’s space program can’t have a 2 digit IQ,” Musk wrote in another post.

In another post, Musk created a poll asking his followers: “should someone whose biggest claim to fame is climbing trees be running America’s space program?,” referring to Duffy's time as former world champion lumberjack climber. “Noo, he need moar brainz!”one of the choices said.

Meanwhile, Musk's recommended pick to lead NASA, Jared Isaacman, is also lobbying to be selected. Back in May, President Donald Trump pulled Isaacman for consideration just ahead of Trump and Musk's public falling out. The White House shared that there were reservations over Isaacman's loyalty. He had previously donated to Democratic campaigns.
