Garry Graham is changing the way communities talk about mental health. His weekly radio program, Mental Health Manna, is becoming more than a show, and it is a place where listeners find understanding, guidance, and authentic conversation, against a backdrop of favorite gospel music songs.

In recent months, the program’s growth has reflected a cultural shift, as audiences are actively seeking honest discussions about emotional wellness, and since it airs on a Gospel station, Mental Health Manna is appealing to its listeners in words and songs.

Airing on WYCB 1340 AM / 99.3 FM in Washington DC, the station is part of the Radio One Network. Mental Health Manna has recorded a 94 percent increase in total listening hours and a 42 percent rise in its cumulative audience, with more than 400 percent growth reported in session engagement, since November 2025.

These numbers reflect more than popularity; they demonstrate a deeply engaged community that is returning consistently, participating actively, and connecting with content that resonates.

“I may not be a statistician, but I am a clinician,” Graham says, “so I do understand what it means when people keep showing up. These numbers tell a story of trust, resonance, and a growing hunger for honest, judgment-free conversations about mental health.”

The program airs every Saturday at 5:30 PM Eastern, and offers a safe, inclusive space for discussions about resilience, healing, and personal growth. Blending professional expertise with lived experience, Graham creates conversations that are both clinically grounded and deeply human. His program is a weekly destination for improving ones well-being and conscious connecting and accountability with matters of the heart and mind.

Listeners are not simply tuning in, they are becoming part of a community that values empathy, understanding, and hope.

Garry Graham has an MA, MPH, and is an LMHC, a licensed mental health clinician, public health professional, and a respected voice in community-centered mental health advocacy.
