Washington, D.C. (7News) — Kenny Coogan, nursery owner and education director of the International Carnivorous Plant Society, joined Megan to share how he got started teaching about carnivorous plants. He introduced several varieties, explained where they grow best and offered care tips for anyone interested in trying one at home.

Viewers can meet Coogan and learn more at a carnivorous plant pop-up this Saturday at Bear Chase Brewing Company from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Northern Virginia.
