Gunther has made it to the semifinals of the Last Time Is Now Tournament by way of a win on WWE Raw. The former World Heavyweight Champion defeated Carmelo Hayes on Monday’s show to advance in the tournament. Hayes tried his best but was unable to put Gunther away and fell to a powerbomb and pinfall. You can see highlights from the match below.

Gunther moves onto the semifinals where he will face either Solo Sikoa or Penta. That match will take place later on tonight’s show.

The winner of the The Last Time Is Now Tournament becomes John Cena’s final opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event. That show takes place on December 13th from Washington, DC and airs live on Peacock.
