If the 44-year-old former Olympic snowboarder had been arrested in Canada, well, he might have been able to count on some judge claiming his criminality was due to his thinning ginger coiffe.

But that kind of luck is reserved for criminals in Canada, be they homegrown or imported — no such bonus in the U.S.

Wedding surrendered at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City on Thursday, and FBI director Kash Patel announced to the world with much fanfare on Friday that the hulking Thunder Bay native was in custody. His arrest and the aftermath have triggered a slew of questions about what happens next in Mexico, Canada and the U.S.
