Kid Rock’s Army Helicopter Video Sparks Instant Hate

Kid Rock sparked instant backlash after two U.S. Army helicopters paused at his home in a low fly-by.

A video shared Sunday on Instagram showed the famous singer saluting the pilot of an Army Apache helicopter while standing next to a replica Statue of Liberty at the edge of his pool. Kid Rock cheered on the aircrafts at his Nashville home and gave a salute.

He posted the video alongside a snippy message targeting Gavin Newsom.

“This is a level of respect that shit for brains Governor of California will never know,” he wrote. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her. 🇺🇸 🙏”

The stunning visual display was met with online critics, with many questioning who was footing the bill for this spectacle. Others were not impressed by the “Southern White House” sign displayed in the singer’s home.

Kid Rock was clearly amazed by the experience, but critics laced into the star and demanded to to know if taxpayer-funded Army resources were used for the personal visit.

Kid Rock’s post triggered a post from the left-wing group “Occupy Democrats.”

“WTF? Why are taxpayers paying for military helicopters to fly past Kid Rock’s house for a photoshoot?” the organization wrote.

“Why are active-duty military helicopters being used for what looks like a personal flyover or photo-op for a celebrity supporter, who authorized it, and how much taxpayer money was spent on the stunt?” the group said.

“Military flyovers are normally reserved for official events, funerals, or training exercises.”
