Medical examiner releases preliminary cause of death for Sen. Graham

(WACH) — Preliminary reports from the Medical Examiner of the District of Columbia said that U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham died from an aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Officials said the death certificate will remain pending until testing is completed.

Once toxicological and microscopic tests are finalized, the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death.
