Washington (DC News Now) — New polling shows that Democrat Abigail Spanberger continues to have a lead in the Virginia’s governor race, while the races for lieutenant governor and attorney general are getting closer. Polling from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Pubic Affairs at VCU shows Democrat Ghazala Hashmi leads Republican John Reid 44% to 43% for the race of lieutenant governor. And in the race for attorney general, Republican incumbent Jason Miyares holds a lead over Democrat Jay Jones, 45% to 42%.
