FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A man was hit by a bus Tuesday evening along Government Center Parkway and Monument Drive, according to the local police.

The Fairfax County Police Department's detectives are looking into what led up to the crash that severely injured the man.

Monument Drive is closed in both directions as police continue to investigate.
