JIM THORPE, Pa. - Parts of the Poconos are packed with people, as the annual fall foliage hits its peak time for leaf peepers. In Jim Thorpe on Friday, folks enjoyed beautiful fall weather, along with the colorful scenery, as well as fall treats and some music.

The sounds, sights and smells of fall, all meld perfectly together in Jim Thorpe this time of year. It's one of the most popular places to check out the changing leaves in the country.

"I was on TikTok," Sarita Williams, visiting from Washington, DC, said. "And I decided I just need to visit this place."

"Just enjoy the beautiful area," Trish Gerhardt, visiting from York County, said. "It's great."

The Pocono Mountains fall foliage forecast says the southern region is in peak season for leaf peepers.
