“Got Talent” is the theme of the Spinet music club’s Tuesday, Nov. 18, program, featuring musicians from the University of Redlands.
The public is invited to the free program, at 7 p.m. at Redlands United Church ofChrist, 168 Bellevue Ave.
Spinet member Dianna Bradley, a University of Redlands professional accompanist, has selected the program.
Bradley and Malcolm Swan, also a professional accompanist at the university, will be featured in a piano duet.
Others performing will be vocal students Alexandra Muyshondt, Gabe Melendrez, and Ethan Hebel and Spinet member Aneta Augustyn Davis.
Dianna Bradley, who received her master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Redlands, has taught in music at Northern Virginia CommunityCollege and spent 22 years teaching choir, keyboard and drama at Cope Middle School in Redlands, according to a news release from Spinet.
Malcolm Swan, a native of the United Kingdom, graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and was one of the founding members of the Helios Piano Trio and the Helios Symphony Orchestra. He has live in California since 2015 and at the University of Redlands works primarily with the vocal music faculty.
Aneta Augustyn Davis, a Polish-born opera singer, received a bachelor’s degree from Cal State Long Beach and a master’s degree in vocal performance from Boston University. In addition to performing, she teaches music and art for two local charter schools.
Alexandra Muyshondt, a Salvadoran-American soprano, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands and is working toward a master’s degree in vocal performance. She has sung leading roles in two of the university’s opera productions and this past summer attended the Taos Opera Institute.
Gabe Melendrez, who served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps, is a junior at the University of Redlands, studying vocal performance.
