He previously served as an analyst at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), where he focused on irregular warfare in the Middle East and South Asia. Before joining ISW, he was a fellow at the Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology (CSINT) at American University. He has previously worked in the private and nonprofit sectors in India and Afghanistan.
