Surprise! Musk Has An Indian Link Through Partner Shivon Zilis

WASHINGTON, DC – Elon Musk has dropped a revelation that caught even longtime followers off guard, casually disclosing on a popular podcast that his partner, an AI specialist, Shivon Zilis, is half Indian and that one of their sons carries a name inspired by one of India’s greatest scientific icons.

Rumors of Musk and his family life have always skirted the bizarre with speculation over his high profile affairs and the multiple women who have birthed more than a dozen of his children.

Speaking on Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath’s “WTF is?” podcast, Musk veered into unexpected personal territory. “I’m not sure if you know this, but my partner Shivon is half Indian,” he said, before adding an even more striking detail. Strider Sekhar Sirius is one of their twin sons who has been given the middle name Sekhar, as Musk’s tribute to Nobel Prize–winning astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar.

Together, Zilis and Musk have four children: the twins Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus.

Musk went further, sketching out Zilis’s early life in a way that startled listeners. When Kamath asked where she grew up, Musk revealed that Zilis was adopted as a baby in Canada. “I think her father was like an exchange student at the university or something like that,” he said, noting that he wasn’t certain on every detail but confirming she was given up for adoption before being raised in Canada.

Zilis is a longtime Musk lieutenant who joined Neuralink in 2017 and now serves as Director of Operations and Special Projects. She is a Yale graduate in economics and philosophy.
