FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A teenager is facing multiple charges, including murder, after another young boy was found shot to death in the Hutchison area of Fairfax County last week. After a thorough investigation, detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department said they secured felony petitions for second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting from a vehicle. The child was taken to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center, where he is being held on a detention order. Police said a community member had reported seeing an unconscious male on the ground./ When authorities showed up, they found an unresponsive teen with a gunshot wound to his lower body. The child was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said they believe the shooting was not a random act of violence.
