Adorned with sparkling lights, colourful decorations and standing amazingly tall, there are many impressive Christmas trees across the globe.

They often bring excited crowds together as their lights are switched on in an annual ceremony. Cheerful carol singers gather around them regularly during December, spreading joy and merriment.

Christmas trees are often the focal point of a city during the festive period and several have become such a big deal that they are known around the world.

Some are only a short trip away from the UK, including Paris and Lisbon.

But others are much further, like the Rockefeller Center tree that dazzles every year in New York.

For Dee Momi, founder of luxury travel company Seven Access, the 'most impressive' tree to visit is in Gubbio, Italy.

She exclusively tells the Daily Mail which Christmas trees are particularly dazzling and which one is 'not always worth the hype'.
