CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Greater Cincinnati landed seven communities in the top 400 of Niche’s new 2026 “Best Places to Live in America” ranking, a list that weighs everything from safety and schools to affordability and local amenities.
Niche said its rankings are built using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics and the CDC.
In the Cincinnati area, Park Hills led the way, ranking No. 1 in “Best Places to Live in Cincinnati Area” and No. 195 in the national “Best Places to Live in America” list.
Several other local communities also made the top 400 nationwide:
Madeira was ranked No. 1 in “Best Places to Live in Hamilton County” and No. 221 in America.
Blue Ash ranked No. 3 in “Best Places to Live in Cincinnati Area” and No. 255 in America.
Wyoming was No. 1 in “Best Places to Raise a Family in Cincinnati Area” and No. 317 in America.
Mason was No. 1 in “Best Places to Live in Warren County” and No. 346 in America.
Kenwood ranked No. 4 in “Best Places to Retire in Ohio” and No. 384 in America.
Mariemont was No. 2 in “Best Places to Raise a Family in Cincinnati Area” and No. 400 in America.
