TileBar is expanding its national retail presence to Long Island with the opening of a new flagship showroom in Manhasset.
The tile and bath retailer recently opened its two-story showroom at 1900 Northern Blvd., adjacent to the Americana Manhasset shopping center. The location marks the company’s seventh showroom opened since October 2025 as it continues expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint nationwide.
For President and CEO Ira Melnitsky, the opening carries personal significance. A native of Old Bethpage, Melnitsky said the company has long wanted to establish a Long Island location.
“Opening a flagship on Long Island has been a long-standing goal, and we’re thrilled that our Manhasset showroom now offers an additional resource for our Long Island clients,” Melnitsky said.
Although TileBar was founded in New York City and opened its first showroom in Manhattan, Melnitsky said the company has long served Long Island homeowners, designers and contractors who regularly traveled into the city to shop.

The new showroom, designed in partnership with global architecture and design firm Gensler, spans two floors showcasing TileBar’s tile and bath collections. The space includes mood-boarding workstations, private meeting rooms, an extensive sample library and coffee bars intended to create a hospitality-inspired environment for both homeowners and design professionals.
Melnitsky said the showroom reflects the company’s strategy of combining its digital business with in-person experiences.
“Our assortment is expansive, and clients often want to see how multiple options look under natural light, feel texture and understand scale in a real vignette — something photos and samples don’t always achieve,” he said.
The showroom is also designed to serve as a gathering place for architects, interior designers and builders, with dedicated workspaces where professionals can collaborate with clients between appointments.
