WASHINGTON, DC: The US and several Gulf nations have released a joint statement strongly condemning the missile and drone attacks launched by Iran, calling them “indiscriminate and reckless.”

The joint statement declares that they are standing united in defense of their “citizens, sovereignty, and territory, and reaffirm their right to self-defense in the face of these attacks.”

The government of the US on Sunday, March 1, released a joint statement noting that Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have come together to address the recent wave of aerial strikes.

The group characterized the offensive as unprovoked and a clear violation of international norms regarding state sovereignty.

“The United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates strongly condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran’s indiscriminate and reckless missile and drone attacks against sovereign territories across the region,” the statement read.

“These unjustified strikes targeted sovereign territory, endangered civilian populations and damaged civilian infrastructure.”

The nations made it clear that these attacks are not isolated incidents. Instead, they believe the actions pose a broader threat that endangers the safety of the entire region.
