Hey, here's something cool! Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman are two musical entities who make perfect sense together. Lenderman was part of the studio band on Waxahatchee's excellent 2024 album Tigers Blood, and the two of them sang the gorgeous duet "Right Back To It" together. Just a few weeks ago, we got the surprise self-titled album from Snocaps, Katie Crutchfield's new band with her sister Allison, which also includes Lenderman and Brad Cook. Snocaps have a few shows coming up. And next year, Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman will head out on a proper tour together.
Next spring, Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman will play 18 shows together across North America. They'll perform separately and together, and they'll hit some great, old, ornate venues. Stereogum Artist To Watch Brennan Wedl will open every show, and a dollar from every ticket will go to local nonprofits. Everything about this is good! I see zero downsides! Check out the dates below.
